Most job descriptions for managers and supervisors include terms like "develop employee skills." But, without specific guidelines, many managers and supervisors procrastinate this process because they have little experience and are often unsure about how to accomplish this goal.
Coaching is a planned, structured one-on-one process between the manager/supervisor and the employee. Generally the purpose of coaching is to develop an employee for future organizational needs, or to help an employee overcome a gap in their technical, decision-making or interpersonal skills.
In this course, you will learn and practice everything you need to coach with confidence. You'll learn to do your prep work, you'll practice the talk track and you'll even manage employee resistance.
