This course is designed for senior managers.
A culture of continuous performance improvement drives results. In this three-part program we'll deliver a pathway to measuring financial results as a route to success through numbers based decision making. We'll also hear from local executives who'll share their best practices for using metrics in their organization to produce results.
Course 1 of the program focuses on sales and profits. What metrics drive sales? What do you need in sales to achieve your profit targets? What can you do to lift profits? How does discounting impact the sales you'll need to sustain profit? This session delivers a practical process for assessing these issues and more.
Course 2 of the program focuses on improving business results through productivity improvement and managing cash flow. We'll also explore ways to integrate financial accountability with your company goal setting processes. There are many things that you can measure in your company. This session will provide a process to identify the most important things to measure so you can focus on the activities that produce results that count.
Course 3 of the program will reveal the best practices in numbers based decision-making of Washington Employer Association members. How do your peers use benchmarking and financial analysis to set goals, motivate employees and drive success? The session will feature a panel discussion and facilitated networking opportunities where leaders of the local business community share their best ideas.
