Supervisory/Managerial Techniques to Increase Employee Engagement

This course is designed for supervisors, managers and human resource personnel.

In order for leaders to maximize the performance of their employees and their teams, they need to consciously engage employees in the work and keep them engaged in the work.

This course provides participants with practical ways to establish and maintain both individual and team engagement.

Topics that will be covered include:

  • Establishing and maintaining trust with subordinates
  • Fostering effective communications
  • Designing engaging jobs
  • Coaching and developing subordinates
  • Team engagement techniques and processes

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate key practices that increase individual employee engagement
  • Demonstrate the use of team engagement techniques and processes
  • Create a Transfer Plan for trying-out various engagement improving tools/activities back at their organization and in their work teams
