Blogs, text messages, E-mail and internet use in today's workplace
pose many legal issues for employers. This webcast will cover the
following questions that are common to many employers:
- Can you control employee blogs about the employer?
- Can you read your employees' e-mails and monitor internet use?
- What controls can you place on employee internet usage?
- Can you discipline employees for "improper" employee
electronic communications?
- If you are sued, what electronic records must you preserve?
- Are there problems or pitfalls in "paperless" HR?
We will answer these questions and more as we learn about the
laws governing electronic communication and recordkeeping in the
workplace.
