Training Courses & Seminars

As part of our mission to provide a full spectrum of human resource services to our members, we offer a variety of training programs ranging from offerings for all employees (First Aid/CPR, Time Management, Microsoft Word I, etc.), to those intended for supervisors (Supervisory Skills, Holding People Accountable, etc.).

Classes are also offered in topical areas such as Safety, Employment Law, Human Resources, and Customer Service. In addition we have informal topical roundtables allowing participants to learn through sharing with peers.

For a complete list of classes available through Washington Employers, please view our Topical Listing.

Our members cite the quality of our programs, the continuity of our training, and our reasonable cost as the foremost reasons why they choose Washington Employers for their training needs time and again. But don't let the affordable cost of our programs lull you into expecting a run-of-the-mill experience. We are driven to provide the maximum impact for your employees' time and for your money. Members consistently tell us two things about our programs: that they are very well received by attending employees and that they make a business impact on the individual and the organization.

We publish two training catalogs per year containing programs in our two primary locations Seattle and Kent. To better serve the needs of our members, we're also conducting workshops in other areas as needed. This web site will allow you to sign up for any of our currently scheduled workshops. To get started, please click here or select "course schedule" from the menu on the left.

All of our classes can be scheduled onsite. These classes can be limited to one company or open to other members in the local area. For information on our onsite workshops, please contact our training department at (206) 329-1120 or e-mail us at training@wa-emp.com.

Questions? Comments? E-mail us at training@wa-emp.com to communicate with us regarding our training programs. We'll respond quickly and look forward to helping you move forward with your training goals.
